charming room, inviting kitchen/lounge area, good value

Cumbersome self-check-in process with codes!!! Lack of soundproofing creates noise disturbances in common areas!!! Dust on surfaces and loose interior door were annoying distractions!!! Parking could get tricky when full!!!

It had a great and unbeatable location - 4-6 minutes walking distance from Brandenburg Gallery.

We were in Ely for 1 day, had fairly nice stay, the hotel was tidy with marvellous and unbeatable location right in the center of town. Our room was spotless and large and had a refrigerator, coffee/tea making machines and a dining area. The bed was very comfy & the staff was helpful. Location: the venue was near snow-covered alley, many shops, and Britton's cafe.

We appreciated the self-check-in process, made our arrival smooth and hassle-free. The cozy common area with a warm fireplace invited social interactions while playing cards or enjoying tea. Our room offered a calm atmosphere, perfect for relaxation after a day out. And coffee available in the morning was a nice touch.

The amenities for families were perfect, especially the spacious room and shared kitchen. Plus, the coffee shop nearby made mornings easy with delicious pastries and coffee.

In my wife's opinion, it would be great to have more family-friendly dining options nearby.

This was our second visit, and we enjoyed an even better experience than before. The cozy kitchen and shared spaces made it perfect for our walking tour around ely, where everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was good.

We had a lovely night with our two dogs, enjoying cozy evenings on the porch and taking advantage of the common kitchen. The coffee shop nearby was a great find for some morning pastries and coffee, and we also enjoyed the fun patio area in the evening. One downside was the noise from other guests late at night, but overall it was a nice experience. 🐾

No one checks you in, which might feel odd for some. You get a code to get in the door and your room. The Double Room, Disability Access forces you to crawl over a partner to get out of bed, not the most convenient setup. Air conditioning comes with a hefty noise level, and the thin walls don't help if guests next door have children who like to play loud. Bright exterior lights shine all night, meaning you might need to block those out with a towel to get a good night's sleep.

The room had central heating, a flat-screen TV, a microwave, and an exceptionally comfortable bed, and the bathroom was well-equipped with a tub; the check-in process was efficient and the staff were terrific.
